Blanket Bay – surrounded by natural beauty

Blanket Bay lodge is a lakeside retreat near Queenstown, New Zealand in the Southern Alps. This boutique hotel is isolated and surrounded by natural beauty, with the views that capture Humboldt Mountains and Lake Wakatipu.

There are four different types of lodges for guest accommodation. The Mail Lodge is built in the grand style with native New Zealand timber and it includes rooms and larger suites as well as fireplaces, amazing views and a restaurant. The chalets offer a little more privacy and space. The Villa has four king suites available comprising bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and featuring individual fireplaces, while The Owner’s Residence is a spacious lodge ideal for larger groups.

Because of the great natural setting, many outdoors activities are available at this retreat and in its surroundings. Bicycles and a pool are available for the guests, as well as the health facilities, gym and a hot tub. Also, there is a wine cellar with vintage wines and large games room available to the guests. Hiking in the beautiful surrounding mountains is highly recommended.
